The Environmental Policy Statement below outlines our corporate commitment to minimise the effects our employees have on the environment while employed by FALCON TRANSLATIONS LTD.
We believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner.
We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance, beyond regulatory requirements, as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods.
It is our priority to encourage our customers, suppliers and all business associates to do the same. Not only is this sound commercial sense for all; it is also a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations. Reduce the use of paper in the office and recycle paper where possible.
Seek to buy recycled and recyclable paper products.
Water & Energy
Endeavour to reduce the amount of energy we use as much as possible.
Switch off lights, computers, copiers etc when not in use.
Consider the energy consumption of new products when making purchasing decisions.
Office Supplies
Reduce the amount of office supplies that we need.
Seek to buy more environmentally friendly products.
Recycle everything we can.
Monitoring & Improvement
Ensure that all employees understand our environmental policy and conform to the high standards required.
Promote environmental awareness among our employees and encourage them to work in an environmentally responsible manner.
Train, educate and inform our employees about environmental issues that may affect their work.
Legislation
Wholly support and comply with or exceed the requirements of current environmental legislation and codes of practice.
Address complaints about any breach of our Environmental Policy promptly and to the satisfaction of all concerned.
Transportation
Promote and support the use of environmentally friendly forms of transport by staff, volunteers and clients.
